Wedding Invitation Suites on Minted.com

Minted.com does such an amazing job with their products and my Belluccia Calligraphy Font,

I had to feature them in another post.

Above is the Big Sur invitation where rustic meets chic in this modern faux bois design.

The names and body copy are printed in a pretty teal color called central coast.

As always, you can pick from several different shapes for your cards.

Here the Big Sur Menu, shown with square corners, has the same faux bois background,

but with the “weathered oak” color for the wording.

I love the look of the Baby’s Breath Wedding Suite.

This beautifully shaped invitation is shown in mint with all the wording,

including my Belluccia Calligraphy font, in gold.

The RSVP postcard is shown in the color “petal”.

What a great way to cut cost by

using one card which requires half the postage!

The matching wedding program is so pretty on this buttercream colored paper

and it’s a perfect size at 4″ x 9.375″.

This elegant invitation is called the Traditional Royalty.

The white print on the mint background really pops!

It’s available in a variety of colors and shapes.

The RSVP card from the same suite is classic in black and white.

The Elegant Lace wedding suite is available in five different pastel

colors including blush which is shown here.

I love the way the lace forms a soft border around the wording.

Watercolor Invitations on Minted.com

It may be cold outside, but these watercolor wash wedding invitations by Minted.com

get me excited for spring and summer weddings. They offer a romantic alternative

to a standard wedding invitation with their soft, pastel colors.

DIY Black, White and Gold Wedding Invitation

These DIY wedding invitations have a sophisticated look but

can be done at home with the right paper and font.

It was created for the wedding of the couple for whom I made this wine themed bridal shower invite.

The invitation features the bride and groom’s name boldly in my Dom Loves Mary Stylistic Font.

The flourishes are from my Belluccia Flourishes font.

I used Adobe Caslon Pro for the text.

The shimmery, white card stock ( Curious Metallics Ice Silver)

is backed with a black card stock called Boutique So….Silk.

Both are from FasClampitt Paper.

One thing to note, the white paper is a thick card stock.

If your printing at home, make sure your printer can handle it.

Otherwise you may want to make color copies at FedEx Kinkos.

I know their machines are able to handle thick paper.

You would need to print 2 on an 8.5″ x 11″ then cut to size.

The invitations are packaged in these gorgeous stardust gold pouches

from Marsupial Papers. The invitations are secured

to the pouch with double stick tape and the rehearsal dinner invitation

and RSVP card are inserted in the pouch.

This was printed on the other side of the RSVP post card.

The vineyard ornament added the perfect touch to this wine country wedding.

It’s available from Laura Worthington’s Azalea Smooth Ornamental Fonts.

They’re free!

On the other side of the RSVP card, I used

embellishments from my Belluccia Calligraphy Font.

( The pointing finger and border around the return address.)

Having an RSVP postcard saves money since you don’t need an envelope.

And the return postage stamps are .34 instead of .46.

The pouch was sealed with a monogram backed with black.

The best way to do this is to attach the monogram to the pouch just on the sides so you can tuck the end of the flap into the monogram card.

This allows for easy opening and closing by the guests without tearing up the invitation.

I addressed the envelopes by hand using the lettering style of my Dom Loves Mary Calligraphy

font then used a beautiful wedding cake stamp.

DIY Wine Themed Bridal Shower Invitation

I created this shower invitation for a lovely couple

who will be tying the knot in Napa this fall.

It’s a creative DIY that you can do at home and I’m going to show you how!

I created it in Photoshop, but you can use any publishing program.

First, I created the label with a photo of the happy couple framed in white and gold,

along with an illustration of a winery from the Azalea Smooth ornament pack by Laura Worthington.

(It’s free!)

With my Dom Loves Mary Font, I added the words “Grant Vineyards” using the groom’s last name.

The label was also used as decor on wine bottles at the actual shower.

Next I inserted free clip art of the perfect wine bottle,

and added all of the shower information in white against the black bottle background.

The invites were then printed on 120# gloss cover and cut to 3 3/8″ x 8 5/8″.

( Gloss works better when your printing photos.)

I then backed them in the rich “Mars” color Stardream shimmer card stock from Clampitt Paper which was cut to 4″ x 9 1/4″.

The tags are 3″ x 1- 1/2″ with the front saying “Please join us for a couples shower honoring

Sarah & Tommy” in my Dom Loves Mary Stylistic Font. On the back is a list of the shower hostesses.

I printed a large number on one sheet then cut them and used a corner punch to round the corners.

I put a small hole punch in the corner and tied a 1/4 inch gold metallic ribbon to the tag.

I then punched two more holes through the wine bottle just at the bottom

of the red foil of the bottle. The gold ribbon was threaded through each

hole and secured on the back with artist tape. Double stick tape was used

around the edges of the white card which was then secured to the red paper.

The gold shimmer #10 envelopes, also from Clampitt Paper, were hand-lettered using my Dom Loves Mary font style.

Each was sealed with a perfectly matched red heart stamp.

I’m happy to say, thanks to a great team of ladies, the shower was a huge success!

So Suzy Stamps featuring Cantoni Hand Lettered Font

Every paper crafter knows the versatility that cling mount stamps offer in their crafts.

Suzy Moore of So Suzy Stamps has come up with a great collection of

cling mount stamps that has something for everyone.

My Cantoni Calligraphy Font looks confident in red on this sassy and sophisticated card.

Suzy also offers some embellishments like the liquid pearl drops on this card in silver pearl.

What friend wouldn’t love to receive this card?

I have a soft spot in my heart for this Victorian Craft Room stamp.

It’s so rewarding to see talented people get crafty with my font!This dress stamp is so pretty! Here it’s used on a wedding themed card,

but it’s versatile enough to be used for many different occasions.

The “From this day forward” stamp also works well with many of Suzy’s other wedding stamps.

Nothing says love like tulips. This card uses the beautiful tulip stem stamp

with pink and green ink as the main focal point.

The “Love” stamp at the bottom makes a simple, yet bold statement in my Cantoni Pro Font.

This “Wish” stamp can imply many different feelings from get well to birthday to marriage wishes.

Here it’s paired with a gorgeous wishing well stamp with some colorful embellishments.

Die Cut Bridal Shower Invite by Mountain Paper Design Studio

I came across this lovely custom bridal shower invitation featuring my Belluccia Calligraphy Font

by Mountain Paper Design Studio.

I was impressed by the Style Guide above that she provided for her client.

It’s a helpful tool to get an overall view of the project.

Changes can easily be made at this point.

Here’s the final result! She created a die cut of a simpler version of the bride’s dress.

The white bow tied at the waist adds texture and a fun element.

The color combination of aquamarine and orange reflect the tones of their tropical destination wedding.

Love how the envelope liner pops with color!

She gave center stage to my Belluccia font and created a modern twist by placing it on an angle.

More of the invitations sans the bows.

A matching Thank you card using the same colors and my Belluccia font looks clean and fresh.

The kraft envelope adds a trendy touch and works well with the color palette.

DIY Wedding with Belluccia font on Wedding Paper Divas

Check out this lovely DIY use of my Belluccia font on weddingpaperdivas.com.

The couple combined their appreciation for good music and food to create a lovely personalized wedding.

The bride designed every element of the wedding stationery: Save the Dates, Invitations, Ceremony

Programs, Appetizer Menus, Dinner Menus, Place Cards, Table Numbers, Hash Tag and the

guest book shown here. I’m thrilled to see how she used my Belluccia font in such creative ways!

The tables were named after some of the couple’s favorite musicians. On the table was a framed picture

of the musician with their name in Belluccia and the couples’ theme “The soundtrack of our life” printed

at the bottom. How cool !

Gotta love Instagram! Here’s a hash tag card for the guests to follow when posting their pictures.

This couple thought of everything!

Halloween Invitation

Last week I posted a tutorial on how I created the address label above for a Halloween party invitation.

Today I would like to show you some of the other pieces that were created for this party.

This client goes all out every year to ensure their Halloween party is memorable.

Here is the really cool party invitation which was created by Lauren Lamb

with some conceptual input from me.

All of the other pieces that I created were designed to complement this creative design.

The bags in the upper right will be filled with candy and offered to the guests as party favors.

The sign in the top left, with a little play on words, invites guests to take a party favor home with them.

It was a blast to work on this project!

was created in answer to an e-mail.

This gal was trying to create “PLEASE deliver to” to print on her envelopes along with the addresses

using my Dom Loves Mary Add On Words and Text font as seen in the graphic above.

The Dom Loves Mary Stylistic font and Text font along with the Additional Flourish package

and Add On font were all used to create this graphic.

This is a great choice for the Do-it-Yourself person who wants the look of calligraphy for less!
