Cantoni Font Flourishes

My motto is “Live life with a flourish!”

With these Cantoni Font Flourishes you can have fun adding special touches

to your paper product designs.

Create monograms, borders and headers to use on invitations, menus, programs, table numbers,

and other event signage.

Just like the DIY Wedding Words and Ornament font from my previous posts,

you can easily work with the Cantoni Flourishes in Microsoft Word.

No need to have a special program.

All you have to do is choose Cantoni flourishes font from your font list.

Create a text box.

Then click on the keyboard letter, number or symbol that correlates to the word or image you want.

You can easily highlight and change to the desired color.

Then print on plain card stock on your own printer.

Below is the Keyboard Map to show you where everything is located.

The monogram above is dedicated to my niece Elly and her husband Chris.

They were high school sweethearts who married 4 years ago and have added our littlest Cantoni, Hannah, to the fold!

By the way Chris is a very talented photographer with 8246 Photography and is available for weddings in the Kent, Ohio area.

She’s definitely a daddy’s girl!

Succulent Wedding Invitation in Kraft Pouch

What a joy to create this gorgeous and unique invitation suite for Heather Clark using my

Dom Loves Mary Total Design font.

This could easily be done as a DIY invitation.

The heart of the suite was the invitation with a beautiful picture of a succulent obtained from istockphoto.com.

All of the paper products came from Marsupial Papers

The invitation, as well as the Reply post card, is printed on Ivory Sand card stock then backed with a Driftwood Shimmer paper using double-backed tape.

(You can even order the backers pre-cut!)

This is then attached to a 5″ x7 ” Kraft Koala pouch.

I used my Dom Loves Mary Script and Text fonts as well as my Dom Loves Mary flourishes and a selection of my DLM Add-On Words like: ‘Please deliver to’, with’, ‘of’, ‘at’, ‘in the’, ‘at the’ and ”

to create an elegant hand lettered look.

That’s all included in the Total Design Package.

We were fortunate to find the apple stamps for the post cards to tie in with the organic feel.

While two double rose wedding stamps were used on the envelope.

(Rose stamps not shown in photo. This sample was photographed before exact mailing costs were known.)

The succulent closures were printed on Ivory Sand then cut out using a creative memories tool and attached to the pouch with double-backed tape leaving just enough room to insert the pouch tip underneath.

I am always thrilled when I get the opportunity to match any of my fonts with hand lettering.

The custom ivory color really popped on the Kraft envelopes.

If you’re not a calligrapher or don’t have it in your budget you could use a white ink pen to address the envelopes.

Voila!! You have a custom look for less.

This was a joy to create for the lovely bride and groom.

Wedding Invitation with Dom Loves Mary Calligraphy Font

I create my fonts with invitation designers in mind.

I admire all the wonderful ways they use fonts to make something unique.

I asked the wonderful designer Bev Verbeke to create some invitations using my

Dom Loves Mary Total Design Font Package.

This includes all three versions of the Script fonts as well as the Text font, Flourishes and Add On Words.

She did not disappoint with these lovely, sleek, modern designs!

I love her use of the belly band to feature the bride and groom’s names.

The bold black and white stands out beautifully against the soft contemporary blue color of the band.

Once the belly band is removed the bride and groom’s names are accented with a nice pop of color.

She chose a soft gray for the main wording and utilized the Dom Loves Mary Font Add on Words

to break up the text. ( and, on, the, in the )

I created these as a separate package so they could be used with any text font, not just mine:)

Here’s another option in color and slight change in the belly band.

The enlarged names that float in the background in a softer color create a subtle background element that adds just the right touch of interest.

And I love that she chose to use “Dom loves Mary” for the bride and groom’s names.

I think replacing “and” with “loves” is such a sweet approach for any invitation.

It makes you say “Ahhh” as soon as you open the envelope.

I designed the flourishes to go with the upper and lower case letters to be used at the designers discretion.

Here Bev creates a hand lettered custom look for the couples’ names.

I love that she chose the version of the Add On Word “to” with the heart:)
