Today I want to share a sweet personalized lettering project I did for a client’s baby nursery.
I know I promised you more chalkboard saying giveaways, and they’ll be coming.
But I have lots of projects I’ve been working on and wanted to fit that in so you can see what else I do besides create and promote my fonts:)
So here is a the piece I created for sweet Audrey Leigh.
It’s 11.5″ x 15.5″ and is lettered on 140 lb. Arches paper in pen and gouache paint in two colors of pink. She even gave me a cute little pink baby sock to match the color:)
You KNOW I haven’t had one of those around my house in a loooong time!
The client also had me create these small pieces to accompany it. They will go in 4″ x 4″ frames.
Aren’t those the sweetest thoughts?
It’s really lovely to know that as Audrey grows she will have these as reminders of how very much she is loved.
And that is the coolest part of what I do.

Update on Dom Loves Mary font: It’s a close race to the top 5 of the Hot New Fonts list!

Making the Hot New Fonts list is a huge deal for a new font. And I’m grateful to everyone who got Dom Loves Mary to # 10.
But what’s even bigger is making the next list: “The Rising Stars”.
Only the top 5 on the Hot New Fonts list make it to that next step. I was thrilled when my first font, Belluccia, was on it.
So I am doing all I can to spread the word about her sister, Dom Loves Mary to get her on it as well. (You know how it is with siblings. They always want what the other one has:)
