Hello My Love
“Hello My Love” is a font love story – a match made in heaven, inspired by my own long and happy marriage. A classic hand-lettered script with a modern and fresh feel, it sweetly dances across the page working beautifully with current designs and yet is sure to stand the test of time.
The font package includes a total of 1985 characters! As an added bonus you get an accompanying 91 piece ornament font filled with frames, florals and elements that will allow you to create a variety of designs to highlight your special project. It’s especially well-suited for invitations for weddings and other special occasions!
This font was created to make designing easy. Need to convert upper case letters into Roman numerals throughout a guest list? Just turn on contextual alternates in Open Type capable programs and presto, the caps become Roman! Want a variety of letter choices? There are 215 stylistic alternate upper cases and 259 stylistic alternate lower cases as well as 69 ligatures to give you plenty of options.
For a flourished beginning lower case letter, choose from swashes in 4 different styles and 3 different lengths to create unique beginning lower case letters. Want to add design elements to an invitation suite and day of event signage? The accompanying Hello My Love Ornaments font has all 91 options. For cutting machine users, the font is also encoded for PUA (Private Use Area) for easy use.

The Story behind the Font
I first saw my husband Michael at the age of 4 in his grandfather’s corner grocery store. I imagined he got to eat all the candy he wanted! Fast forward 12 years, and we meet at McDonald’s after our high school football game. We dated for awhile bu then went our separate ways when he left for college. Eleven years later, I moved to Dallas. Back in our hometown of Erie, Pa. his mom ran into my dad at a local Italian deli. When he told her I lived in Dallas, she was delighted to share that her son, Michael, had been transferred there 6 months earlier. When Michael called his parents at the usual time the next Sunday, she shared the news. He gave me a call. We reconnected at a restaurant called “The Magic Time Machine”! A year and a half later we got married at the same church both of our parents had been married in. It’s been 35 years and we still like each other:) So I created this font to celebrate our wonderful love story.
