Hand Painted Wood Signs Using My Cantoni Font

Rachael Stahl of Honeycomb Signs does such an amazing job creating

these hand painted wooden signs using my Cantoni Total Design Font.

She types the wording on the computer than enlarges it

onto the wood before painting it in.

Each piece is made to order out of beautiful, reclaimed wood.

Here she has used white paint with black lettering,

but she can customize the wood and ink to your liking.

This sign would make a great wedding gift. It measures 32′ x 15″.

It would look great over a bed or a console table.

Rachael created this custom sign for one of her clients.

The royal blue and black ink really pop on the white, painted wood.

DIY Black, White and Gold Wedding Invitation

These DIY wedding invitations have a sophisticated look but

can be done at home with the right paper and font.

It was created for the wedding of the couple for whom I made this wine themed bridal shower invite.

The invitation features the bride and groom’s name boldly in my Dom Loves Mary Stylistic Font.

The flourishes are from my Belluccia Flourishes font.

I used Adobe Caslon Pro for the text.

The shimmery, white card stock ( Curious Metallics Ice Silver)

is backed with a black card stock called Boutique So….Silk.

Both are from FasClampitt Paper.

One thing to note, the white paper is a thick card stock.

If your printing at home, make sure your printer can handle it.

Otherwise you may want to make color copies at FedEx Kinkos.

I know their machines are able to handle thick paper.

You would need to print 2 on an 8.5″ x 11″ then cut to size.

The invitations are packaged in these gorgeous stardust gold pouches

from Marsupial Papers. The invitations are secured

to the pouch with double stick tape and the rehearsal dinner invitation

and RSVP card are inserted in the pouch.

This was printed on the other side of the RSVP post card.

The vineyard ornament added the perfect touch to this wine country wedding.

It’s available from Laura Worthington’s Azalea Smooth Ornamental Fonts.

They’re free!

On the other side of the RSVP card, I used

embellishments from my Belluccia Calligraphy Font.

( The pointing finger and border around the return address.)

Having an RSVP postcard saves money since you don’t need an envelope.

And the return postage stamps are .34 instead of .46.

The pouch was sealed with a monogram backed with black.

The best way to do this is to attach the monogram to the pouch just on the sides so you can tuck the end of the flap into the monogram card.

This allows for easy opening and closing by the guests without tearing up the invitation.

I addressed the envelopes by hand using the lettering style of my Dom Loves Mary Calligraphy

font then used a beautiful wedding cake stamp.

Gold and White Invitation Suite with Belluccia Font

Look at this gorgeous Gated Wedding invitation suite from Papillon Press that uses my Belluccia font.

The bride created an elegant suite to reflect her Roaring Twenties inspired theme.

I just love the ornate detail in all of the borders and how well it frames the text.

Note the beautiful Latin saying in the header ‘amor, vincit, omnia’ which means ‘love conquers all things’.

The top border of the invitation is prominently displayed on the reply card.

They even carried the Latin part of the border over to the letter-pressed napkins. Nicely done!

Black and Gold Wedding Invitation

I found this elegant Art-Deco invitation suite by Carina Skrobecki Design and Lizzy Showman using my Belluccia font on the Oh So Beautiful Paper blog.

The black and white elements combined with the gold foil and thread is simply gorgeous.

The Belluccia script is perfectly offset by the creative mix

of different sizes, weights and italicized block fonts.

Note the matching borders on the Reply card that bring this suite together. Very nicely done!

An accommodations card is set on top of the reply card and tied together with gold thread.

And who doesn’t love that pop of gold against the dark envelope.

Overall a very class look!

Succulent Wedding Invitation in Kraft Pouch

What a joy to create this gorgeous and unique invitation suite for Heather Clark using my

Dom Loves Mary Total Design font.

This could easily be done as a DIY invitation.

The heart of the suite was the invitation with a beautiful picture of a succulent obtained from istockphoto.com.

All of the paper products came from Marsupial Papers

The invitation, as well as the Reply post card, is printed on Ivory Sand card stock then backed with a Driftwood Shimmer paper using double-backed tape.

(You can even order the backers pre-cut!)

This is then attached to a 5″ x7 ” Kraft Koala pouch.

I used my Dom Loves Mary Script and Text fonts as well as my Dom Loves Mary flourishes and a selection of my DLM Add-On Words like: ‘Please deliver to’, with’, ‘of’, ‘at’, ‘in the’, ‘at the’ and ”

to create an elegant hand lettered look.

That’s all included in the Total Design Package.

We were fortunate to find the apple stamps for the post cards to tie in with the organic feel.

While two double rose wedding stamps were used on the envelope.

(Rose stamps not shown in photo. This sample was photographed before exact mailing costs were known.)

The succulent closures were printed on Ivory Sand then cut out using a creative memories tool and attached to the pouch with double-backed tape leaving just enough room to insert the pouch tip underneath.

I am always thrilled when I get the opportunity to match any of my fonts with hand lettering.

The custom ivory color really popped on the Kraft envelopes.

If you’re not a calligrapher or don’t have it in your budget you could use a white ink pen to address the envelopes.

Voila!! You have a custom look for less.

This was a joy to create for the lovely bride and groom.

I wish Heather and Brandon a life filled with happiness!

Wedding Invitation Suite with Belluccia by Bev Verbeke

Check out this beautiful invitation suite using my Belluccia font by the fabulous designer Beverly Verbeke.

I love how she used the large script initials on all of the pieces of the suite to give them a distinctive look..

The block text perfectly complements the Belluccia script to give this a clean and balanced look.

Always love seeing a good design in duplicate!!

DIY brides, you don’t need to be a calligrapher to create pretty hand-lettering.

Notice the Sheaffer cartridge pen Bev used to address these envelopes. Just beautiful!

CBS 2013 Hottest Wedding Trends Video Highlights Invitation with Belluccia Calligraphy Font

CBS published a video on 2013’s Hottest Wedding Trends

which includes a darling letterpress invitation suite created by Alexandra and Craig of The Aerialist Press

using my Belluccia calligraphy font.
