Vee Creative Baby Shower Invitation with Cantoni Font

If you’re looking for a unique baby shower invitation, look no more!

The very talented Victoria York of Vee Creative designed this pretty,

bird themed invitation suite.

My Cantoni Calligraphy Font looks so cute in bright pink surrounded by beautiful colored flowers.

And I just love the delicate line art of the bird cage.

A coordinating turquoise and white stripe borders the

invitation which has a double backing of sparkly gold and pink card stock!

The sparkle really adds just the right amount of zest.

Victoria just loves a decorated envelope. ( I do too!)

These were sure to put a smile on each guests face.

My hand lettered fon t in pink adds a personalized look to the envelope

lined with a beautiful matching floral print.

The small bird cage favor with

personalized die cut bird is adorable!

Included in this invitation suite were personalized place cards with a soft

pink pattern in the background and personalized thank you notes with the mom-to-be’s name.

Coordinating pink envelopes were used with the thank you cards.

DIY Black, White and Gold Wedding Invitation

These DIY wedding invitations have a sophisticated look but

can be done at home with the right paper and font.

It was created for the wedding of the couple for whom I made this wine themed bridal shower invite.

The invitation features the bride and groom’s name boldly in my Dom Loves Mary Stylistic Font.

The flourishes are from my Belluccia Flourishes font.

I used Adobe Caslon Pro for the text.

The shimmery, white card stock ( Curious Metallics Ice Silver)

is backed with a black card stock called Boutique So….Silk.

Both are from FasClampitt Paper.

One thing to note, the white paper is a thick card stock.

If your printing at home, make sure your printer can handle it.

Otherwise you may want to make color copies at FedEx Kinkos.

I know their machines are able to handle thick paper.

You would need to print 2 on an 8.5″ x 11″ then cut to size.

The invitations are packaged in these gorgeous stardust gold pouches

from Marsupial Papers. The invitations are secured

to the pouch with double stick tape and the rehearsal dinner invitation

and RSVP card are inserted in the pouch.

This was printed on the other side of the RSVP post card.

The vineyard ornament added the perfect touch to this wine country wedding.

It’s available from Laura Worthington’s Azalea Smooth Ornamental Fonts.

They’re free!

On the other side of the RSVP card, I used

embellishments from my Belluccia Calligraphy Font.

( The pointing finger and border around the return address.)

Having an RSVP postcard saves money since you don’t need an envelope.

And the return postage stamps are .34 instead of .46.

The pouch was sealed with a monogram backed with black.

The best way to do this is to attach the monogram to the pouch just on the sides so you can tuck the end of the flap into the monogram card.

This allows for easy opening and closing by the guests without tearing up the invitation.

I addressed the envelopes by hand using the lettering style of my Dom Loves Mary Calligraphy

font then used a beautiful wedding cake stamp.

Belluccia Calligraphy Font used in Black and White Wedding

I love the crisp look of black and white! And I was thrilled to see my Belluccia calligraphy font was chosen to add to this couple’s classic look on Snippet & Ink’s blog.

It’s used on the Rehearsal dinner invite ( love the gray stripes in the background), Wedding invitation, RSVP and return envelope, as well as the program and favor bags seen in the last pic below.

The gray programs pop with the couples white initials and ribbon.

How darling are these monogrammed totes for the guests favors. I wonder what’s inside???
